Vitiligo

You’ve living with vitiligo or a similar pigment-loss condition …

Vitiligo is a chronic skin disease that causes loss of pigment, due to a deficiency in the melanocytes (pigment producing cells) resulting in irregular pale patches of skin. The precise cause of vitiligo is complex and not fully understood. There is some evidence suggesting it is caused by a combination of auto-immune, genetic, and environmental factors.

Vitiligo is successfully camouflaged using medical tattooing treatment. The results are accomplished by tattooing skin color pigments into the hypo-pigmented skin (skin lacking color) – diminishing the appearance of the Vitiligo.
Prior to the medical Permanent make up also known as tattoo process topical or local anesthesia are applied to the skin to reduce the prickling sensation generated during the procedure.
Each pigment infusion session normally takes 60 minutes and will require multiple treatment sessions for larger areas.
